March 2016 || IPSY Glam Bag

HELLO, Spring!!

This bag will be my 9th bag I received from IPSY. The second bag I create a video for. And the first bag I write a more honest review for. The reason i’m writing this review is because from where I stand IPSY has gained many more followers. And there may be some girls (and guys) wanting to know a little bit more about IPSY and if it's worth it. Later on i’ll write a post of what I think about IPSY, but for now let me get started with this wonderful bag.

March's theme was spring. With every bag they include a cute little post card looking thing. Mine was of @Chrisspymakeup ♥♥♥ I personally like the photos they add because they just tie everything together.

Eye shadow Brush

Simple yet useful eyeshadow brush. I wouldn’t say i’m new to makeup, but i’m pretty new to makeup. So being the nub I am I would say the brush doesn’t matter. But let me tell you! It really does make the difference. The brush really matters. This brush is so soft and smooth.

Warm Glow Bronzer

I’ve never been much of a bronzer fan. Nor did I really know how to apply it. When I first got a bronzer from IPSY, I didn’t know what to do it. Once I tried it, WOOW. It really does make a difference. When you know how to apply it correctly that is. And there are a ton of youtube videos that can help you on how to contour. I already own the TARTE bronzer (thanks to IPSY) so when I received this one I was a bit excited. Just as the name says ‘warm glow bronzer’ it does just that. When I first applied it, it gave me a warm glow to my face. Great for spring/summer.

make me brow eyebrow gel mascara

This eyebrow gel is a life saver. My eyebrows tend to be thin and spotty. And that’s just not cute. Just with a simple brush of my eyebrows, BAM! They look perfect and i’m ready to walk out of the door. Now obviously if you want instagram eyebrows you’ll need to do a lot more than just this eyebrow mascara. But if you don’t have time to do all that work, this little guy will do.

Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick

When I first heard of this liquid matte lipstick I wanted to try it so bad! And look I got one in my bag! Unfortunately I do not like the color one bit. It is way to barbie pink for me. So i’ll probably end up going to buy another one. One my color. But the reason I’m willing to go buy one is because it really is long lasting !!! And very pigmented! It doesn't smear so easily like other lipgloses. If it wasn’t for the ugly pink, I think this would have been my favorite item this month. So close, so close. But no good.

Nourishing Argan Oil of Morocco 3 Day Smooth Perfect Blow Dry Cream

Last but not least … (what?) I recently got into home blowouts. And wanted to buy a product that made my blow out last longer. Funny, it's like IPSY know exactly what i’m looking for and into at the moment! I used this product once and it did leave my hair feeling soft for 3+ days. But at the same time, it wore my hair down a lot and made it all sad looking. I didn’t really appreciate that. It could be that I applied too much or didn’t apply it right. I will try it one more time and see how I really feel about it.
