REVIEW of Viva Glam || Ariana Grande

Let's talk about this new Ariana Grande GLAM lipstick. First of all I love and support the cause of this particular lipstick. M.A.C’s VIVA GLAM lipstick was created to raise money and awareness for HIV/AIDS. “100% of the purchase price of any VIVA GLAM product goes toward the M.A.C AIDS Funds.” When I first heard of this lipstick Miley was the “M.A.C girl” at the time. Although I did not buy that lipstick. One thing lead to another and I had spaced out and forgot to buy it. This time around, Ariana Grande is the current star gracing the M.A.C girl spot. I wouldn't say these idols are the reason I wanted to purchase the lipstick. I was sold with the 100% of proceeds go to AIDS funds. But sure knowing Ariana had something to do with this lipstick was a factor.

So while I was at Macy's I decided to purchase the lipstick. I was a bit hesitant about the color only because I have never worn such a dark color. My go to lipstick will forever be Kat’s Lolita II, but that's a post for another day. I did try it on and was blown away with how … Sexy I felt. A lipstick/gloss makes or breaks a girl in my opinion. This lipstick gave me confidence. So I purchased it.

Now it has been months since I've had this lipstick and honestly… I'm no longer sold on it. My friend said maybe I had gotten a bad one. For this VIVA GLAM lipstick being my first MAC product …. I don't think I'll be going back (I don’t regret buying it because I know my money went to something good).

If you want a long lasting lipstick I would highly recommend Kat Von D's lipsticks and lip gloss. I can only wear this lipstick for short amount of times before I'll have to reapply it. It smudges way too. When you first apply it, it's a beautiful wine red. But as time passes the shade becomes more purple/pink.

It says it's a MATTE lipstick but … Not very matte honestly.

If you want to wear this lipstick when you go out to eat. Don't.

If you want to wear it while you kiss your boyfriend/girlfriend. Don't.

If you're going to be drinking. Don't wear it.

Don't get me wrong. No hate here, I do still love this lipstick to some extent. The cause, the meaning, showing awareness. I support all that, and that's where I was sold.

I Have Two Jobs

Following up with my last post. I am currently working two jobs and still going to school. WOOW! Okay, when I mean I’m still going to school - I mean I have two classes. So what. My days are still eventful! Why do I have two jobs? Honestly I have no freaking clue. One job i’m treated like sh*****t. The other one i’m still new to know anything. But here I am. Two jobs and still trying to find motivation to do homework. I’m currently failing at that part. Although this was and is my first week having double shift days, I’m tired! This is hard! I don’t think I can make it three months. Yeah, I’m giving myself a three month limit. After that I’ll be leaving one job. I Don’t know which one yet.

I’M SORRY. This blog wasn’t supposed to be a complaining blog. But after this post and my last one it feels like it has. I’ve never done this before so i’m not even sure who reads these things. Unless you're my friend and I directly send you the link to this post I don’t know who you are. In a way I want to say this blog is my safe place. Where I can write down what i’m thinking and when I want to de-clutter my head. No one likes a fussy mind. So just bare with me. Things will get better. Although I won't go to depth into things because come on this still is the internet and well you never know.

But for now I should really get back to doing my homework.
